X10 Florida Winter Break Camp is situated at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in

Beachside Vero BEach, FL

The Jackie Robinson Training Complex acts as a year-round center for amateur development programs and events aimed at diversifying and enhancing young athletes' talents, making it an excellent fit for X10.

What separates this weekend training camp from the rest is its intimate high level coaching experience. Players will have 8 training sessions with the top coaches in the country and off the field will be plugging into leadership & goal setting seminars. 

Not only will players leave with a smile on their face, but the purpose of this camp is to prepare them physically and mentally for their upcoming 2025 season. Every boy and girl will depart with enhanced skills and greater confidence.

    Vero Beach is a small Florida city, with Atlantic-facing beaches on a barrier island across the Indian River Lagoon making it a great place to visit!

    South Beach Park offers wide sands and volleyball courts. Downtown’s South Beach Park chronicles the local citrus industry.

  • The focus on Athletic & Personal Development: The program includes 8 on-field lacrosse sessions led by X10 professional coaches. The small-group format ensures personalized & positional hands-on coaching from the experts.

    Beyond the on-field training, participants will engage in mental health exercises led by Coach Bocklet, focusing on the importance of goal-setting, building a personal vision, and understanding your deeper motivation.

    Our High School Athletes will also sit in a recruiting class lead by our D1 Coach Hailey Dobbins to better understand the process.

  • X10 has an athletic trainer from a major university on-site at all times.

    The Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is just 7 minutes down the road in case of any emergencies.

  • X10 Florida is a co-ed camp limited to 50 campers, with campers entering 5th through 10th grades. We limit the experience to 50 attendees to cultivate an intimate environment to develop skills, athleticism, self-confidence and more.

  • This is a camp for athletes of all abilities who are passionate about lacrosse and who are looking to spend time working to elevate their game.

  • Yes! With an emphasis on lacrosse development, athletes spend the majority of the day on the field playing hard, having fun, and developing a stronger, better, smarter game.

    Our drills and teaching techniques offer a cutting-edge approach to training, with a specific focus on breaking down all concepts of position and team play for the developing athlete.

  • Yes! Campers interested in goal-keeping sessions should indicate so on the camp application.

    Goalkeepers are on a different training track than field players. However some of their instruction will overlap with the field players. They will train together with the field players to develop necessary skills and field awareness, but also receive specialized instruction in goal-keeping techniques and tactics.

    Goaltending training will consist of angle play, approach to the ball, communication, clearing, and leadership skills.

 Life at Camp faqs

 
  • Director Chris Bocklet & Casey Bocklet personally hires all X10 Florida staff. Counselors are generally male and female professional or collegiate players that the Bocklet’s have either played with or coached themselves or who come highly recommended by area lacrosse programs.

  • Players will stay on campus in the hotel style facilities with three to a room including two double beds and one pull out cot.

  • The food at X10 Florida is nutritious and delicious – and there is plenty of variety at each meal so campers and staff always have lots of choices.

    Any food allergies and dietary restrictions must be indicated in your health form but are addressed and accommodated as needed.

  • While every day at X10 is unique and full of surprises, the days do follow a common structure. On a typical day, campers participate in two Lacrosse-specific periods and two activity periods.

    The session allows plenty of time for lacrosse, and so we break up the program with special days, fun, and special events.

    Here is the “typical,” daily schedule at X10:

  • Campers check in at 3:00 PM on Friday and need to be picked up at 3PM on Sunday, the last day of camp.

    On Friday Day Campers will get dropped off at 3:45 at the practice field. The next two days campers will get dropped off at 9:00 AM to the practice field and campers need to be picked up each evening at 8:30 PM.

  • The nearest airport to Vero Beach is Vero Beach (VRB) Airport which is 1.4 miles away & across the street from The Training Facility.

    Other nearby airports include West Palm Beach/Palm Beach (PBI) (68.7 miles), Orlando (MCO) (78.5 miles), Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) (110 miles) and Ft. Myers (RSW) (114.1 miles).
